The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the 1776 Sterling Denoms series of Georgia Colonial Currency in the U.S. Currency contains 10 distinct entries with CPG® values between $364.00 and $2,500.00.
£12,572 19s in Certificates authorized by the Provincial Congress in 1775 were printed to replace all outstanding issues. There are five sizes of certificates, the size increasing with the denomination, with two sizes for the 2s6d. The two highest denominations are printed in red and black and the others are in black. Borders and text are typeset. The first 5s certificates had a crown as a vignette which, on being considered unpatriotic, was removed in favor of a light blue circular seal. Lower denominations are usually unnumbered. Signers were Peter Bard, William Ewen, William Few, William Gibbons, James Habersham, George Houstoun, Peter LaVien, Lachlan McGillivray, William O’Bryen, William Stephens, Samuel Stirk, Edward Telfair, Nehemiah Wade, Andrew E. Wells, and Richard Wylly. On the 10s and £1 there were five signers; on the 5s with circular seal there were four; on the 5s with crown, the 2s6d, 1s6d and 3d, there were three; and on the 1s and 6d there were two.
