Goldsheet: THE NEW PRICING STANDARD FOR MODERN CHINESE ISSUES

by CDN Publishing | Published on March 24, 2017

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the CDN Goldsheet-the new standard for wholesale pricing of Modern Chinese issues. We launch this month with extensive coverage of the Panda series, denominated and commemoratives. Our editor, Patrick Ian Perez, has spent a considerable amount of time and effort in researching the values of these issues in four different categories: Original Government Packaging (OGP), MS/PR68, MS/PR69, and MS/PR70.

The values you see presented are estimated current dealer wholesale BUY prices. If you are a wholesale buyer of coins in quantity, you can hope to buy coins near these prices. If you are a retail buyer, seeking individual items for your collection, you can expect to pay a higher amount, depending on the premium (profit margin) a dealer is seeking. If you are an auction buyer, we hope you will use our prices to help you determine a place to set your auction bids.

At CDN we operate with a strong feedback loop from our readers. That means we want to hear from you regarding these prices. If we are too high, or too low, on any prices here, please send an email to us at: editor@greysheet.com so we can take your comments into consideration.

CDN ATTENDING HONG KONG SHOW IN APRIL

John Feigenbaum and Patrick Ian Perez will be attending the 2nd Hong Kong Coin Show at the Mira Hotel on 6-9 April 2017. We will be at table E9. We hope to see you in attendance at the show, and we will report on our findings in the May edition of the Goldsheet.
