As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, Robert L. Rodriguez combines cutting-edge science, numismatic research, and detective work to uncover new evidence about one of the nation's most enigmatic artifacts.
1940 Lincoln cents are extremely common in conditions ranging from the well-worn to MS66. The coin becomes significantly scarcer in the MS67 range, with but a handful surviving in grades higher than that.
