Liberty Coin Service (LCS) Senior Numismatist Nicole Stroebel has been accepted as a Gold Associate Member of the prestigious Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG). She is the sixth PNG member on LCS’s staff, which is one of only three companies worldwide with at least this many PNG members on staff. Of the 312 current PNG members, Stroebel is one of only eighteen females among the membership in this elite organization.

Said LCS CEO and owner Tom Coulson, “Nicole has worked for Liberty almost fourteen years and has combined numismatic experience of more than two decades. Several years ago she easily earned her Numismatic Scholar designation from the American Numismatic Association. She has long been committed to Liberty’s high standards for numismatic knowledge, professionalism, integrity, and serving as a friendly advocate on behalf of our customers.”

PNG’s Gold Membership is reserved for owners or managers of their own coin, currency, and/or precious metals business. LCS CEO Tom Coulson, LCS Chief Numismatist Allan Beegle, and LCS Owner Emeritus and Communications Officer Patrick A. Heller are PNG Gold Members. Stroebel joins LCS Inventory Manager Paul Manderscheid and LCS Senior Numismatist and GIA-Certified Diamond Grader David Hartung as PNG Gold Associate Members, who must be employed by a PNG Gold Member. Combined, the six staff have more than 220 years of experience serving customers at Liberty Coin Service.

The Professional Numismatists Guild was established in 1955 to promote Knowledge, Integrity, and Responsibility within the coin, currency, and precious metals Industry. Its membership is made up of the elite numismatic dealers in the US and worldwide. Members agree to be bound by the PNG Code of Ethics.

Frequently honored Liberty Coin Service, established in 1971, is Michigan’s largest rare coin and precious metals dealership. Liberty Coins, as it is known locally, has been located in Lansing’s Frandor Shopping Center since 1975.
