Restrikes. Silver restrikes include two from unrusted dies and apparently struck in a modified “close” collar; struck over quarter dollars of the 1804 through 1807 Draped Bust obverse, Heraldic Eagle reverse type. All copper restrikes are from rusted dies.

Die used to strike 1827/3 quarter dollars.
Reverse Description
Die used to strike 1819 quarters of the Browning-2 variety (with square-base 2 in 25C, unlike the curl-base 2 on original strikings of 1827 quarters).

While reviewing the initial results in various categories of recent auctions, my initial take is that the sales were moderate to strong.
More than 300 lots, consisting of high quality Walking Liberty half dollars from the Mack C. Chase Collection are set to cross the auction block as part of Stack's Bowers Galleries' November Showcase Auction, the official auction of the Whitman Expo.
