While reviewing the initial results in various categories of recent auctions, my initial take is that the sales were moderate to strong.
The edge is lettered HUNDRED CENTS ONE DOLLAR OR UNIT, with decorations between the words.
Obverse Description
Without stars, its distinguishing feature. Otherwise similar to the die cut for the regular-issue 1794 silver dollar. Head of Liberty, with flowing hair, facing right, the inscription LIBERTY above and the date 1794 below. This die is not the same die (later with stars added) known to strike regular 1794 dollars.
Reverse Description
The regular die used to strike silver dollars of 1794, perched eagle within wreath, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around border.
