Die by Longacre, letter font probably by Anthony C. Paquet. Die used to strike J-271 of 1860; perched eagle holding undulating ribbon in beak inscribed E PLURIBUS UNUM, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / FIVE DOLLARS around; V is inverted A.
