It’s always nice to see a neighborhood coin shop get good press. On October 2, The San Mateo Daily Journal did just that for long-time Greysheet subscriber and coin dealer, Jim Beer, who operates on the store name of “The Coin Broker” since 1980 [dealer directory link]. The article credits Jim and his daughter, Rebecca Clay Pippin, for maintaining a great operation that has served collectors for over 40 years. I especially love the references to great coins Beer has transacted over the years, including the rare 1870-S Seated dollar.

The CDN team offers congratulations and thanks to Beer and his daughter, and their loyal staff for their support of our hobby.
