The 1967 10 Cents is part of a series of Roosevelt dime coins struck from 1946-Present. The specific variety is Special Mint Set. Struck in San Francisco and designated as a Business (SMS) strike, this coin is made of 75% copper; 25% nickel from a mintage of 1,863,344 struck.
Issued with the Special Mint Sets (SMS) that were issued from 1965-1967 in lieu of proof sets. A few 1964 sets were issued as experiments and are very rare.
Obverse: Portrait of Franklin Roosevelt with the word LIBERTY at the left periphery. IN GOD WE TRUST written horizontally at 7 o'clock left of the portrait. The date is positioned to the right of Franklin's neck.
Reverse: Torch of Liberty is flanked by olive branches in the center with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA * ONE DIME around the circumference.
