Heritage Reschedules & Relocates January Auctions to Dallas
FUN & NYINC 2021 Auctions move to Dallas after the shows were cancelled due to covid concerns.
Heritage Auctions sent the following announcement to bidders in the wake of cancellation announcements of the January FUN and NYINC coin shows.
This past Friday we were told of the cancellation of the January 2021 Florida United Numismatists Convention. While the expo is cancelled, Heritage will go forward with the scheduled numismatic auctions, just as we have done seamlessly and successfully throughout this year when the April Central States, June and September Long Beach's, and Summer ANA conventions were cancelled. The new dates are January 20-25, 2021, two weeks later than originally scheduled, at our Dallas headquarters, and worldwide on HA.com. As previously announced, we will also be hosting our New York International Coin Convention auction in Dallas the same week.
Heritage will be hosting private lot viewing in Dallas between now and the auctions for clients desiring to view coins at our new corporate HQ. Please contact us to set-up an appointment. The health, safety, and wellbeing of our clients and staff are of primary importance, and we want to assure you that since March we have instituted operational changes in line with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, governmental authorities, and other experts, in order to diminish the risk of potential transmission of COVID-19 at Heritage auctions and events. This includes setting up lot viewing areas with appropriate distance between attendees, the required use of masks for all lot viewers and Heritage staff, and enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols. As has been our policy since March, all bidding will take place online and by phone.
