Long Beach Show Attendees Report Strong Show

by CDN Publishing | Published on June 10, 2019

Dealers who attended the June 2019 Long Beach (link) reported (unexpectedly) strong activity at the event. Dealers reported a slightly weaker attendance than usual, however the people that showed up came to do business. It certainly helped that gold spot shot up during the show on trade war fears with Mexico. The “Long Beach Curse” is a well-known wive’s tale in the coin business that spot prices always slide during the event. Not this time around, however. We have about 8 weeks before the ANA World’s Fair of Money in Chicago — the annual bell-weather event. Not much going on between now and then except for Summer FUN Show in Orlando (link), which CDN will be attending.

The next Long Beach show will be held Sept 5-7, 2019. Contact show promoters for more information (link).
